Come to Foothills Art Center's Rock Mountain National Watermedia exhibition.  Now through the end of October. Oregon-based artist, Judy Morris. Ms. Morris selected 80 paintings by artists from 28 states around the country. Her thoughtful choices show the breadth of interesting approaches by today’s watermedia artists, including Little Kitty of Hydra by Cathy Pennak, a vibrantly colored ink resist painting depiction a European urbanscape; Ranch Foreman by Z.L. Feng, which portrays a man’s face eroded by hard work; and Childhood Quilt by former RMNW juror Donna Watson, a subtle abstract referencing her personal experience. These are just a few of the captivating selections not to be missed.
